Puppies don’t usually need grooming, but they should be used to grooming from the early age, so that they learn to enjoy the process and keep quiet when groomed. The long and dense coat of these dogs requires regular brushing and bathing. The whole procedure takes about 10-15 minutes a day, if the coat is in a good condition. Ear cleaning and nail trimming should be regular. Everyday brushing helps reduce the amount of shedding and prevents painful mats and sore spots from occurring.
